Ghosts from the past … or from the future: Some men feel that the best is behind them. They cling to a belief or an image that occurred in their past and spend all of their present and future in search of that image. Sometimes, men also feel that the best is still waiting for them in the future. So, they keep searching for the perfect partner all the while.

Complacency: Men have certain ideas about their love life. They desire things to be steamy and exciting. When a woman begins to get careless about the way she looks or begins to ignore him, he may feel unwanted and neglected. If things get bad enough, he will leave.
